Job Title: Healthcare Security Officer

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' healthcare and university campus sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations by monitoring site visitors and performing ID checks.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to site emergencies, including alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
  • Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to our dispatch team on behalf of the clients' assets.
  • Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding the activities, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site.
  • Regularly patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on site.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification or be willing to obtain one prior to getting hired.
  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Have prior experience working in Security or Customer Service.
  • Be a current resident of Halifax.
