Healthcare Security Specialist

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' healthcare and university campus sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to alarms, emergency requests, and incidents in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor site visitors, perform ID checks, and prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations.
- Respond to site emergencies, including medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
- Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to our dispatch team.
- Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding security violations and hazardous occurrences.
- Patrol the facility regularly to ensure the safety and security of clients' assets.
- Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification or be willing to obtain one prior to getting hired.
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Have prior experience working in Security or Customer Service.
- Be a current resident of Halifax.
