THE POSITION

We are looking for a skilled Bid Management Specialist to join our Strategy & Growth team, engaging across all major sectors of the construction industry, including civil works, transportation, infrastructure, renewable energy, utilities, and specialized business units.

Reporting to the Head of Submissions, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the success of our Expressions of Interest, Requests for Tender, and other bid-related initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time role, with flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of bid submissions by overseeing the timely preparation, review, and submission of tenders.
  • Interpret client expectations and effectively communicate the scope of work to the Bid team.
  • Serve as a Bid Writing resource when necessary, facilitating storyboard sessions and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop content.
  • Implement best practices in bid responses and review submissions crafted by team members.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Designers to manage the visual and production aspects of tender submissions.
  • Work closely with fellow Proposal Managers to ensure information sharing across submissions.
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Journalism, Business, or Project Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Pre-Contracts/Submissions environment, preferably within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 organization, including roles as a Proposal Manager or Bid Writer.
  • Experience in preparing tenders for Design & Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts, and Public Private Partnerships (PPP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Pro is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple submissions at various stages of completion concurrently.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
