Position Overview

Culbert's Bakery Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in baking and pastry preparation, ensuring high-quality products that meet our standards.

Educational Requirements

• Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a bake shop setting, which may include:

• Confined spaces
• Noisy conditions
• Hot environments

Key Responsibilities

The Baker will be responsible for:

• Preparing dough for various baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet items, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.
• Baking mixed dough and batters to perfection.
• Frosting and decorating cakes and other baked items.
• Ensuring product quality meets established standards.
• Operating necessary machinery.
• Organizing and maintaining inventory effectively.

Travel Information

Travel expenses will be covered by the employer.

Physical Requirements

The position requires:

• Ability to distinguish between colors.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
