Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Supervisor to lead and direct our warehouse crew in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will oversee the seamless flow of materials, responsible for receiving, shipping, issuing, and delivering materials to support production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the safety culture and ensure procedures are followed.
- Participate in daily Production meetings to present and discuss information material updates.
- Monitor Operations to ensure priorities are maintained and deliverables are met.
- Support the execution of work across multiple trades through material delivery.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, with at least 2 years in a warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or distribution environment – Shipbuilding and Ship Repair is preferred.
- 6+ years of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, or distribution experience in shipbuilding, defence, manufacturing or a similar environment
