Job Title: Language Specialist

Staremployment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Specialist to join our team in Newmarket, ON.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Speech-Language Specialist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. As a Speech-Language Specialist, you will work with patients of all ages, providing therapy and strategies to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including speech exercises, language activities, and swallowing techniques.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing development and improvement.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is an asset.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of speech and language disorders.
  • Familiarity with relevant therapy techniques, tools, and technology.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $65,000.00-$120,000 per year.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
