We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consumables Department Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Consumables Department and ensuring a high level of customer service and task completion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product information, and resolving customer issues.
- Assist in providing direction and coordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Consumables Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
- Assess the overall presentation of Consumable Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes as required.
- Delegate, assist, and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
- Support with scheduling as needed.
- Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
- Participate in the training and development of the Consumable Associates, and provide feedback as needed.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, leadership, and team management. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
