Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This position is based in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and meaningful connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough assessments, planning, and evaluating care needs in collaboration with medical professionals and team members.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to healthcare staff, ensuring the delivery of personalized health services.
  • Facilitating effective communication and adherence to established policies and procedures within the healthcare team.
  • Assisting in the creation, implementation, and assessment of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with company protocols and nursing standards.
  • Overseeing the application of dressings and treatments as directed by physicians.
  • Supporting the evaluation and supervision of care staff performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and current registration with the Provincial Association of Registered Nurses.
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing practices and exceptional communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Advanced proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Certification in CPR & Emergency First Aid, along with a clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.
  • A strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through dedicated care and services.
