Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Pharmacist to join our team at Wellness Pharmacy. As a Student Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pharmacy operations, including greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescriptions
- Dispense medications and complete customer pickups
- Assist with data entry, pharmacy inventory support, and other technical/administrative tasks
- Support specialty pharmacy programs, such as Home Monitoring
- Provide clinical services to patients in the community, including medication reviews, vaccinations (if certified), health clinics, and health presentations
- Currently registered in a Pharmacist program
- Some experience/education as a pharmacy assistant or similar role
- Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 15 kg (35 lbs)
- Competitive wages, starting at $25 per hour, with higher wages available for injection-certified students during flu season
