Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant at Bhatt Pharmacy Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of prescription information and assisting pharmacists in delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Management: Verify the accuracy of prescription details and check for proper dosages.
  • Client Information: Enter and maintain client data in our databases.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and manage medication inventories, ensuring availability and compliance.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare and package medications for clients, ensuring all products are labeled correctly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate prescription records and assist in billing third-party insurers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain pharmacy equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm client appointments as needed.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of a College or CEGEP program is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is an asset, with a minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months preferred.

Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Kroll Software and MS Office applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.

Work Environment
