The Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-time Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our family-oriented team. As an integral member, you will assist pharmacists in accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions, answer incoming calls, and perform other dispensary-related tasks. Your goal will be to optimize patients' healthcare, providing outstanding care while contributing to a team work atmosphere within an independent community pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Perform other dispensary-related tasks
  • Use your personality to provide excellent patient care
  • Contribute to a team work atmosphere
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Technician diploma
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) is required
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to distinguish between routine technician functions and those requiring professional judgment
