About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at MAC'S SUSHI. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement new sushi recipes and menus to ensure a diverse and exciting dining experience for our customers.

Culinary Operations

Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, ensuring that all food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Staff Training and Development

Train and mentor junior staff members in the preparation and cooking of sushi dishes, as well as provide guidance on food safety and handling procedures.

Quality Control

Inspect and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that our kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A college diploma or equivalent in culinary arts, or a related field, and at least 1 year of experience in a sushi kitchen.

Certifications and Licenses

A Safe Food Handling certificate is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
