Position Overview

PH Midland Inc. is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in bookkeeping.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a bookkeeping role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Prepare trial balances for the books.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
