Job Title: Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (London) Inc.

Job Summary:

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and contractors. This includes evaluating safety programs, providing training and information to employers and employees, and inspecting work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and information to employers and employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
