Job Title: Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team at Atlas-Apex Roofing (London) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and contractors, as well as promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a safety-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset.
