We are seeking a Molding Process Engineer/Specialist to be part of our dynamic team. The selected candidate will work closely with manufacturing teams on various problem-solving initiatives and continuous enhancement projects.

Position Overview

The Process Engineer/Specialist will evaluate operational processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and spearhead projects aimed at boosting productivity, quality, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining specifications for equipment related to new product lines.
  • Engaging in innovation initiatives to drive product development.
  • Standardizing operational processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the plastics molding sector.
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement methodologies and project management.
  • Proven ability to lead in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
  • Strong communication skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and French being advantageous.
  • Competence in standard computer software applications.
  • Familiarity with established management systems, including ISO, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Willingness to travel across North America, up to 10% of the time.
