Fluvial Processes Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluvial Processes Specialist to join our team at SLR Consulting (Canada). As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect, compile, and manage geomorphology, hydrology, and hydraulic data
- Contribute to fluvial geomorphology and open-channel hydraulic assessments
- Prepare technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices and disciplines
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant geoscience or engineering discipline
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Membership or eligibility for membership with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
- Experience with erosion hazard assessments, erosion threshold analyses, and headwater drainage feature assessments
- Familiarity with GIS software and total station and RTK GPS survey methods
- Ability to travel to remote areas safely and efficiently
