We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation.
- Coordinate food preparation and presentation for special events and banquets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service delivery.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
