Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at New York Fries. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used
  • Package take-out food and prepare simple food items
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Take customers' orders and handle cash transactions
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare foodstuffs
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
