- Negotiate for Services and Rates: Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best rates and services for our business.
- Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Revenue: Monitor and analyze transportation service rates and revenue to ensure optimal performance.
- 3-4 Years of Experience: Proven experience in a transportation operations role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Shipping company or agency, trucking company, warehouse, or general office.
- Area of Work Experience: Fleet management.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility.
