Job Title: Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team at Canamera Refrigerated Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor departmental performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Manage finances and budget, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
