Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rock Wall Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As a Rock Wall Instructor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional climbing instruction and guidance to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and informative climbing lessons to members of all skill levels
  • Monitor climbing areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Assist with leading rock climbing classes, events, and Open Wall activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized climbing area, including equipment and facilities
  • Manage member files and waiver forms in a secure and confidential manner

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structures
  • Ability to regularly lift and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
  • First aid certification and CPR/AED training required within the first 60 days of employment
  • Completion of Life Time's On-Demand Learning Requirements (Kids and Rock Wall) prior to the first day of work

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6-12 months of climbing experience
  • Belay certification
