Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health System Specialist to join our team at VON Canada. As a key member of our Engagement & Philanthropy team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic growth and partnerships across the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy provincial strategic programs to drive growth and partnerships
  • Provide strategic growth advisory services to senior management, including briefing notes, position papers, and reports
  • Monitor provincial health care systems' objectives, emerging trends, and challenges, and provide strategic advice and recommendations
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement and relations, demonstrating sound judgment and sensitivity
  • Support organizational planning by addressing gaps and aligning growth with VON's strategic goals and priorities
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a Health Care Profession, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Health Policy, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in program planning, health policy, project management, and/or strategic planning
  • Knowledge of Provincial health care systems, objectives, emerging trends, and challenges
  • Proven experience leading projects and work teams from program ideation to delivery and iteration
  • Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data and ability to analyze information to identify priorities and emerging issues
