Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a compassionate and skilled Security Officer to join our Hospital team. As a first point of contact for patients, families and staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of patients, families, and staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to hospital personnel
  • Enforce safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and incidents
  • Respond to emergencies and crises in a timely and effective manner
  • Operate video surveillance equipment to monitor hospital premises
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to resolve conflicts and address patient concerns
Requirements
  • A valid Security Guard Licence
  • Previous security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as patients and families
  • A clear criminal background check
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • NVCI or Verbal Intervention Training an asset
