Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd O/A Subway.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including training and development.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, and maintain a positive customer service experience.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to food preparation and service areas. The successful candidate will be required to wear a uniform and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.

Language:

English.

Work Hours:

30-40 hours per week.
