Food Service Manager

Alberta Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal cost control.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 kg.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work in a noisy and odorous environment, with frequent exposure to food and kitchen supplies.
