Occupational Therapist

Lifemark is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community-based setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with a variety of diagnoses and injuries, focusing on their return to previous levels of function.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat clients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, productivity, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct in-home and hospital discharge assessments, home safety and modification assessments, ergonomic assessments, and other interventions as needed.
- Provide workplace accommodations and support to facilitate successful return to work.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Clinical experience in areas such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal and orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics, and/or return to work is an asset.
- Willingness to provide in-vivo OT treatment in various settings, including clients' homes, workplaces, and/or in the community.

- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required (travel up to 1-1.5 hour radius average), paid mileage and travel time.
