Kitchen Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Blackhorse Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet our kitchen's work schedules, ensuring timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Oversee and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a high level of food safety and quality.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
