Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Blackhorse Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet the demands of our busy pub.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to ensure our kitchen staff are equipped to handle all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and analyze kitchen data to inform menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage kitchen schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
