About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Addiction and Mental Health (AMH) program. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver holistic, comprehensive care.
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health promotion and maintenance.
  • Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
  • 4 months of Addiction and Mental Health experience within the last 3 years.
  • Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) preferred.
