About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at A's Precision Machining Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate boring machines, drill presses, filing machines, milling machines, sawing machines, shapers, tapping machines, tool grinders, and universal grinders
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts and components
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
