CNC Machinist Job Description

A'S Precision Machining LTD is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Initiative and ability to work as part of a team
