CNC Machinist Job Description

A'S Precision Machining LTD is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and components
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

The CNC Machinist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a team of experienced machinists and engineers. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
