About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Service Technician to join our team on an on-call basis. As a Food Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our food services department, ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to food services staff, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies
  • Collaborate with food services staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. culinary arts, hospitality, food science)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food service or related industry
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
