We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Supply Food Services Technician to join our team at the District School Board of Niagara.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting students with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals in our school food service programs. This is an on-call position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with meal preparation and service
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the food preparation area
  • Control and handle cash receipts from meal sales and balance accounts
  • Work well with students and colleagues in a team environment

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent, supplemented by courses in quantity cooking
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial or institutional food preparation and service
  • Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle for travel within the jurisdiction
  • Provision of a satisfactory Police Clearance including a Vulnerable Sector Police Check from the last 6 months
