Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at HI Dartmouth. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
- Organize and maintain inventory, negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies as needed.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting our bar and services to attract new customers.
- Lead and instruct individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-performing team.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
- Manage events, planning and executing successful events that meet our high standards.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position, working 30 to 35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
