Sales Representative Opportunity

Sirius Personnel is a leading placement and headhunting agency specializing in sales and marketing professionals in Montreal. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales representative to join our client's tight-knit team.

About the Company

Our client is a pioneer and leader in packaging to horticulture in Canada and the US. With a strong commitment to innovation and the environment, they serve horticulturists and farmers specializing in agriculture. The company is looking to add a sales representative to their team, who will be responsible for new business development, budgeting, forecasting, win backs, and existing account coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new clients and take care of in-house clients
  • Reach and surpass sales objectives
  • Enter customer orders in the system
  • Follow up on customer orders
  • Client visits (seasonal)
  • Answer client calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Work with win back accounts
  • Maintain strong and lasting relationships with customers
  • Participate in trade shows and events
Requirements
  • Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
  • Win back of existing clients
  • 50% road vs 50% office
  • First 6 months learning curve will be spent in the office
  • Bilingual French & English
  • DEP in Marketing or other experience deemed equivalent
  • In house training
  • Little to no overnight travel
  • 3 years in a similar sales role
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Centrix
What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary of $80,000, commissions/bonus of 2%-4% depending on product sold, and a car allowance. Additionally, they provide groupe benefits, a laptop, and a cell phone.
