Environmental Project Coordinator

Moving2Canada is partnering with a prominent environmental firm to recruit an Environmental Project Coordinator for various environmental and infrastructure initiatives. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Position Overview:

  • Oversee all facets of projects, including cost estimation, contract discussions, reporting, safety protocols, financial performance, and billing.
  • Accountable for managing projects with contract values between $100,000 and $5,000,000.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients and engage in business development activities.
  • Experience in the oil and gas reclamation and remediation field is advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop cost estimates and take part in bid evaluations.
  • Organize project timelines and establish project goals.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and project profitability.
  • Review project reports and manage cost distribution.
  • Identify and address project risks.
  • Participate in industry events to broaden the client network.

Required Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in an Environmental discipline or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • PMP Certification is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and remediation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with effective time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
