Financial Records Technician

PTAG Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accounting Technician to join our finance team. This role involves managing financial documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months and less than 1 year.
The position is based in an urban setting, providing a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll by calculating and preparing cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation calculations.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and manage various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Record journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
- Prepare tax documentation and returns.
- Compile trial balances of financial books.
- Reconcile various accounts to ensure accuracy.
Familiarity with the following software is essential:
- MS Access
- MS Outlook
- MS Windows
- MS Office Suite
A basic security clearance is necessary for this position.
Transportation and TravelPublic transportation options are readily available for commuting.
