Financial Records Technician

We are seeking a dedicated **Accounting Technician** to manage and maintain our financial records with precision and care. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and supporting our accounting operations.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a **College, CEGEP**, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between **1 to 2 years**.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Compile various statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns efficiently.
- Generate trial balances of books.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Proficient in using **computerized bookkeeping systems**.
- Must possess a strong **attention to detail**.
- Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced environment**.
- Willingness to work **overtime** as required.
- Demonstrates **accuracy** in all tasks.
- Highly **organized** and efficient.
- Exhibits **reliability** in work performance.
- Strong **time management** skills.
- Minimum of **1 year to less than 2 years** of relevant experience.
