Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ECE Assistant to join our team at Kinderheart Montessori Preschool Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of child-care programs that cater to the unique needs of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Assessment
    • Conduct regular assessments to identify children's strengths and areas of improvement.
    • Develop and implement learning plans tailored to individual children's needs.
  • Childcare and Education
    • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
    • Engage children in activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing educational programs.
  • Environment and Safety
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment that promotes children's health and well-being.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Punctuality and dependability.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to multitask.
