Role Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in delivering financial insights and analyses that drive business decisions. Your responsibilities will include executing business planning, forecasting, and preparing presentations for senior leadership. You will focus on supporting pellet production operations by identifying risks and opportunities, developing production plans, and employing advanced financial modeling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the capital evaluation process and support the organization's business strategy through accurate forecasting and project validation.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and year-end variance analyses, along with forecasting and reporting for the business plan.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization, including process automation and efficiency enhancements. Exhibit strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail across North America and at production sites.

Candidate Profile:
To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A degree in business administration, commerce, engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing an accounting designation. Experience in project controls and management is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of project timelines, construction challenges, and strong analytical skills, along with proficient documentation capabilities.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Planful, and reporting/dashboarding tools.
