About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Kernels Popcorn. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as popcorn and snacks, to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and provide exceptional customer service.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at Kernels Popcorn, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
