Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical laboratory tests and procedures on human specimens and tissues
  • Analyze and interpret test results to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
  • Membership in the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec
