Job Title: General Manager, Trucking Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our trucking company to success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our transportation team, ensuring that our operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve our business objectives.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our transportation team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, including timely and reliable transportation of goods.
  • Financial Management: Manage our transportation budget, ensuring that we are operating within our means and achieving our financial objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role in the transportation industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
