Job Title: General Manager, Trucking Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our trucking company to success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our transportation team, ensuring that our operations are aligned with our company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our transportation operations, including the management of our fleet, drivers, and logistics.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage our transportation budget, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means and making the most of our resources.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with our customers, ensuring that we are meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop our transportation team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role within the transportation industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
