Position Overview:
As a Medical Liaison specializing in Vaccines, you will leverage your scientific expertise to facilitate the safe and effective application of GSK's vaccine products. Your role will involve meaningful scientific interactions and support for key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Medical Plan for the therapeutic area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture scientific relationships with external experts by presenting comprehensive scientific data and supporting educational initiatives.
- Serve as the recognized scientific partner in your territory, maintaining an in-depth understanding of diseases, vaccines, and the competitive landscape.
- Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, providing valuable insights and responding to inquiries in a non-promotional manner.
- Act as a proactive liaison between the healthcare community and internal GSK teams, sharing insights that inform business strategies.
- Represent GSK at scientific events, leading engagement plans and contributing to scientific summaries as needed.
- Provide scientific training to commercial teams regarding GSK products and their therapeutic applications.
- Support medical and clinical teams with evidence generation projects and assist in identifying potential clinical trial sites.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Fluent in English with strong scientific communication skills.
- Advanced post-graduate degree (MD, Ph.D., PharmD).
- Residence within the designated territory is required.
- Ability to present scientific data credibly and facilitate peer discussions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and strategic execution of medical affairs.
- Knowledge of regulations governing medical information exchange in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficient negotiation and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with reimbursement processes in the healthcare system.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for this field-based role.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a medical affairs role, preferably with established networks in relevant therapeutic areas.
