Job Title: Delivery Driver

Glidex Delivery and Janitorial Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver goods and products
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise and products as required
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
