Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Glidex Delivery and Janitorial Services. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to pick up and deliver various items and products to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to transport goods and merchandise
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise and products as required
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce travel time
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting work commitments
