Position Title: Respiratory Care Specialist - Surgical Unit

Position Overview:

As a Respiratory Care Specialist in the Surgical Unit, you will play a crucial role in administering respiratory care and inhalation therapy within the operating room. Your responsibilities will include providing anesthesia support during surgical procedures, assisting in emergency interventions, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Complete an extensive training program designed for surgical respiratory care
  • Support anesthesia administration during various surgical operations
  • Assist in critical situations such as emergency cesarean sections
  • Engage in diverse surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, ENT, and gynecological

Work Locations:

  • Healthcare Facility A
  • Healthcare Facility B

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active membership in the Quebec Order of Respiratory Therapists
  • Recognized Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
